Originally from Mackay, Damon started his legal career in 2019, working within a large general practice firm primarily practicing in commercial litigation and crime. Since his admission in 2022, Damon has been involved in a range of large-scale litigation and regulatory matters, including regularly assisting insolvency practitioners and acting for respondents to ASIC investigations.

- Recently involved in a successful appeal to the Court of Appeal, acting on behalf of a consumer in an action to enforce his rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Link to decision.
- Instructed counsel on a two-day trial in the District Court concerning breach of contract, resulting in a successful settlement for the client.
- Prepared and instructed on an urgent application to wind up a company to avoid personal liability for a client under a director penalty notice, resulting in a successful outcome.
- Successfully assisted in defending an application in the Supreme Court to set aside a contract for the sale of a property, resulting in costs being awarded for his client.
