Our firm is pleased to participating in the K- Mart wishing tree for Christmas. Our firm is purchasing presents for children that are less fortunate to ensure that their Christmas is special. The initiative is supported by the Salvation Army and Mission Australia and our firm is pleased to be part of this fantastic initiative. Rose Litigation Lawyers is proud to make a donation in the sum of $2,000.00 to Rosies. Rosies support the Gold Coast community, especially those who are in need. Rosies are a volunteer-based not for profit organisation who reach out to support people in need not just on the street but in the courts, detention centres, prisons, drop-in centres, and engages in our community through youth, education, awareness, and volunteer programs which play a vital role in prevention and support.
We thank Rosies for their tireless hard work in our local community and are grateful to Rosies as an organisation for assisting underprivileged individuals throughout the local community.
In August 2016, Rose Litigation Lawyers were proud to be a major sponsor for the Daffodil Day Black Tie Gala in memory of Jessica Gall, a young Gold Coast mother who tragically lost her fight with cancer. A night of elegance and glamour at the event held at RACV Royal Pines Resort raised over $20,000.00 for the Jessica Gall Foundation to assist her family in rebuilding their lives after their tragic loss. Rose Litigation Lawyers was proud to support a wonderful event for a great cause.

Recently our Senior Associate, Melissa Coleman, spoke to final year Law Students at Bond University about enjoying a thriving legal career on the Gold Coast as part of the Legal Careers Panel for Bond University Law Week. Melissa shared with Bond students her experience as a commercial litigator on the Gold Coast and the fantastic legal and professional career prospects that our city offers.
Shaun Rose has been appointed for another term as a director on the board of Surfing Queensland Inc. Surfing Queensland is a not for profit organisation that runs the Quiksilver & Roxy Pro events on the Gold Coast, promotes the sport in the state, manages boardriders clubs and surf schools throughout the state, and assists and supports the Vegemite Surf Groms program. Shaun is happy to continue to be involved with Surfing Queensland as director and looks forward to making an ongoing contribution to the organisation and the community. Rose Litigation Lawyers is proud to make its annual donation in the sum of $3,000.00 to the Mater Foundation supporting the ‘Mater Little Miracles’. The Mater Foundation and the Mater Little Miracles support sick and unwell children and babies at the Mater Hospital Complex in Brisbane. Our firm is happy to support the Mater Foundation, and in particular having regard to the massive contributions that they make to the lives of many Queensland families. The firm looks forward to continuing our support of this amazing charity, and the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the Mater Hospitals in Brisbane.
Rose Litigation Lawyers participated in the 2015 ‘Tour de Push Up’ challenge. We raised much needed funds for Cure Brain Cancer and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
The challenge was… for every kilometre cycled in the Tour de France, we completed one push up, one squat or one burpee. With the Tour de France comprising of 3,364km over 21 days, that was a total of over 27,000 reps from the Rose Litigation Lawyers team. Rose Litigation Lawyers raised over $1,600.00 for our nominated charities.
In February 2015, Rose Litigation Lawyers supported a group of girls ‘Team Nikifit’ who participated in the Q1 Stair Challenge to support ‘Rosies – Friends on the Street’ by donating and supplying singlets to ‘Team Nikifit’. Rosies – Friends on the Street provide assistance to the homeless on the Gold Coast.
The sum of $80,000 was raised on the day for Rosies. ‘Team Nikifit’ also topped the team fundraising on the day.

In November 2014, Rose Litigation Lawyers made a charitable donation to ‘A Liquid Future’ in the sum of $2,000.00. ‘A Liquid Future’ is a humanitarian effort in remote Indonesia, which assists and educates children and families in remote Indonesian villages in relation to English education, hygiene and health in order to provide opportunities for these children and their families through education. Our firm’s director, Shaun Rose, visited remote Indonesia on a day trip in May 2014 and was moved by the humanitarian effort that was being undertaken. Accordingly, in November 2014, our firm made a charitable donation to ‘A Liquid Future’, which assisted them in opening a new school in an additional location. In April 2014, Rose Litigation Lawyers were happy to donate a signed and framed photo of 11 time world champion surfer, Kelly Slater, to the Gold Coast Lads Lunch Charity. This sports memorabilia was auctioned and achieved a sale price of over $1,300.00 raising much needed funds for the Gold Coast Lads Lunch local charity, Give Me Five for Kids. Our firm’s director, Shaun Rose, initially received the picture for his pro bono contribution as director of Surfing Queensland Inc.
