The Rose Litigation Lawyers Annual Charitable donation for 2022 has been shared to support two very worthy charities, acknowledging local and international causes.
The Ukraine war is a devastating tragedy for humanity, and the violence and destruction has resulted sadly in many lives lost and people displaced. As a firm we want to do our best to provide support where we can and have chosen to make a donation to the Australian Red Cross ‘Ukraine Crisis Appeal’. To learn more about this humanitarian effort (and make a donation of your own) please visit: https://www.redcross.org.au/ukraine/.
Further to this, we also feel strongly about providing support in our local community, and this year we have chosen to make a donation to the Black Dog Institute. The Black Dog Institute are the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan. Their aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone. Our donation to Black Dog assists them to learn more about the causes of mental illness and create evidence-based mental health tools that are accessible to everyone. Not limited to research, Black Dog turn the insights they find into practical, real-world solutions, providing a wide range of resources to the community, as well as focusing on Mental Health in the workplace, having previously published a specific Legal Profession Mental Health Toolkit.
