On 15 March 2022, our firm’s GC Partner Melissa Inglis and Managing Partner Shaun Rose were invited to judge the Grand Final of Bond University’s Brian Orr Moot Competition. Rose Litigation Lawyers were extremely proud to have been selected to be involved in the competition and were impressed to see such a high calibre of skills possessed by all finalists.
Judging the Junior Grand Final alongside Melissa was Bernard McCabe (the Deputy President of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal) and Lisa Bonin (Bond University’s very own Moot Director). Congratulations to Ella Kirk, Sophie Peach, Alicia Wilson and Caitlyn Douglas on being the Junior Grand Finalists.
Judging the Senior Grand Final with Shaun was the Honourable Justice Collier and Lisa Bonin. Congratulations to Timothy Middleton, Skagen Fielding, Evie Mason and Lachlan Dalton on being the Senior Grand Finalists.
All contestants did a wonderful job at not only presenting and articulating themselves so well but at answering questions from the judges and accepting the constructive feedback provided.
A massive congratulations to Bond University’s Law Students Association for organising the competition and giving students the opportunity to develop their skills in practice.
