- Acted for large national hire company and its guarantors in District Court proceedings concerning a commercial lease dispute which was successfully mediated, resulting in a commercial and practical outcome for the hire company.
- Acted for respondent formwork contractor in Niclin Constructions Pty Ltd v Yatala Formwork Pty Limited [2023] QSC 285 resisting a complex interlocutory application for the hearing of separate questions. Judgment
- Acted for the Queensland Building and Construction Commission in several proceedings including in the Supreme Court of Queensland against the former director of Oracle Building Corporation Pty Ltd (now in liq) and in the District Court against Abel House Removers & Ors (QDC No. 448/23).
- Represented a prominent national transport company in a high-stakes $2.5 million legal dispute in the Supreme Court of Victoria. The case involved over 20,000 alleged breaches of contract over several years (VSC No. S ECI 2022 02763).
- Acted for bankruptcy trustees in the Supreme Court of Queensland concerning their stake in a complex land development owned by their bankrupt’s spouse. This involved securing repeated injunctive relief to prevent the sale of valuable property (QSC No. 5038/19; QSC No. 7526/21; QSC No. 7986/21).
- Represented prominent national harness racing auction house, Australian Pacing Gold Limited, in a complex case focused on the recovery of 14 valuable racehorses, a related debt of $800,000, and successfully securing indemnity costs exceeding $100,000 (VSC No. CI-20-04357).
- Acted for plaintiff yacht purchasers in Fendley & Anor v Owen [2022] QDC 21. Judgment
