I enjoy utilising my practical skills and knowledge of the law to help facilitate the best possible outcomes for my clients. I particularly enjoy being able to guide and comfort people throughout the often extremely stressful situations they are facing when they first contact our firm.
Miranda has been with Rose Litigation Lawyers since February 2017, commencing with the firm as a legal secretary, whilst completing her Bachelor of Laws through Griffith University.
Miranda graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in March 2018 and undertook her Practical Legal Training through the College of Law in Brisbane whilst working full time at Rose Litigation Lawyers, before being admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a solicitor in November 2018.
Since being admitted, Miranda has gained broad experience assisting with building and construction disputes, defamation and reputational harm matters, complex debt recovery matters, large contractual disputes, shareholders disputes and general commercial litigation matters.
Miranda is dedicated to achieving commercial outcomes for each of her clients, ensuring that clients are provided with sensible advice in a personable manner and kept up to date throughout every step of their matter.
Recent matter involvement
- Acted for a partner of a medical practice in Supreme Court proceedings relating to the dissolution of a partnership which settled prior to trial, resulting in a positive and timely result being achieved.
- Acted in District Court defamation proceedings for an individual who had been defamed by three (3) large media outlets, achieving settlements with all three defendants prior to trial.
- Acted for an individual in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, successfully appealing a decision of a government body.
- Acted in a large joint venture dispute in respect of a multi million dollar property, successfully terminating the joint venture agreement with minimal damage and expense to the client, without the need for court proceedings.
